Payment
We ask that you please pay for office visits, testing, and products at the time the service or product is received.
For your convenience, our office accepts cash, personal check, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover for services and products.
By paying for your visit at the time it is received, you are entitled to our Time of Service Discount. The discount is due to the decrease in administrative costs associated with not having to bill clients or insurance. The savings are passed on to you, and represent about 25% off of our regular fees.
If you have specific financial concerns or needs, please discuss the matter with our Client Care Coordinator at the front desk.
Know that we are able to provide healthcare guidance and/or treatment to fit almost any budget.
Insurance
Our office does not accept insurance assignment. If you have health insurance, we ask that you pay for all services and products when you receive them.
If requested, we will provide you with an itemized receipt suitable for submission to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Any reimbursement will then go directly to you.
Please note: We cannot assure you that services (office visits, phone consultations, lab testing, treatment) will be reimbursed. To help determine which services and how much you may be eligible for reimbursement, please contact your health insurance company representative.
Medicare
If you qualify for Medicare and receive chiropractic adjustments, you will be charged according to Medicare's fee schedule guidelines, which in most cases is approximately $37 for an adjustment.
We ask that you please pay for your adjustment when it is received, and we will bill Medicare directly from our office for you. Medicare does usually allow for reimbursement for chiropractic adjustments, and any reimbursement will then go directly to you.
Please note: If you qualify for Medicare and receive any services or products other than a chiropractic adjustment, again, we ask that you please pay for all services and products when they are received. We will bill Medicare directly from our office for you. However, Medicare does not allow for reimbursement for any services (or products) from a chiropractic physician, other than for a chiropractic adjustment.
Auto Accidents
If you wish to receive care related to injuries resulting from an auto accident, Dr. Powers is able to accept assignment for you. This means that you are welcome to have Dr. Powers evaluate and care for your injuries, and his office will bill your insurance company directly.
Please note: You won't have any out-of-pocket expenses, provided your insurance company remits payment for all services rendered and products received.
